MY STORY
About me is a long story, goes back to 2007, when I started work in Ireland, in a Dunboyne Castle Hotel, which was back in time in the same collection with a Dylan hotel Dublin city center, where we got an oppurtunity to get spred out our knowledge a bit. Following I had a good couple of workplaces with years, to see different techniqes, some other type of gastro businesses. Used to work for event catering campany as well, we did even a bigger ones, like Garda family day partys, Garda head quarter party once a month. As pastry chef it was a tough first time in my life in Trim Castle Hotel, but I learned a lot, worth the hustle.
In 2013, I started my journey in Austria, in Hotel Post, Lech. Another 5* experience, with great chefs. After Post, I did a bit travel and work around Austria, again different type of businesses, from “hütte” what is a kind of home style cooking, traditional Austrian, to leading a team even in a large catering places, industrial kitchens.
Now a while ago I’m back at a hotel kitchen, and makes me feel good, that I can even teach my members for all that cooking knowledge, techniques, what i got from this beautiful profession. We all love to eat, do we? Definitely.
If you are looking for something, you wanna try, just go ahead, do it. I have got a lot from countries, colleagues, as a cook, a member of the cook community, now it´s my turn, to give something back.
The inspiration for book writing is my wife a bit, and a friend of us, unfortunately she has no idea about cooking at all. Sorry for her,but i promised a first book for her. She is already spoiled.
